One message: the draft, what travels with it, the approvals that gate it, the send that stamps the moment it went, and the read receipt if one ever comes back. Generic on purpose — a support desk, an approval chase and a sales follow-up are the same record — so it carries a single relatedTo pointing at whatever the message is about. Name approvers and a quorum and the page offers Request approvals, then Send and Save as Outlook draft only once the platform's own _Approval satellites say the quorum stands on the text as it stands; an edit lapses every approval. Both buttons run the message's own script on the kernel as the clicker — attachments exported to PDF, the mail built in the clicker's mailbox with To and Cc — and Show plan unfolds the exact chain before pressing. Sent-at and read-at are instants, rendered in the reader's own time zone; no receipt is reported as no receipt, never as unread.
